Free Haircuts for the Homeless, Food Distribution and Mobile Shower Event Held

There were many amazing organizations and individuals from local Salons and Barbers who helped to make the 2nd Annual Free Haircuts for the Homeless Event in Atlantic City a success yesterday! Ocean Inc. (Community Action Agency in NJ) Direct Services staff were in attendance to assist with food, resource material and giveaways.

With the help of all, the team was able to feed over 450 people, provide 50 haircuts and mobile showers to 25 people. Organizations also provided resources, clothing and toiletries to all in attendance. Stay tuned, another event will be coming in July 2023 in Toms River, Ocean County, NJ.
