Ms. Kathleen DiMario, author of 'What Kind of Dog Am I' read to the children yesterday at the O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Brick Head Start Center located in Ocean County, NJ.

In the story, Posha knows she is a rescued dog. She knows she is very happy, loves her dog-mommy, and has funny paws that turn out like a ballet dancer's feet. But everyone she meets still wants to know what kind of dog she is. By following Posha's journey of self-discovery, the children learned the valuable life lessons of how they can find their own true identity and build self-esteem.

The children enjoyed the story and were each given their own autographed copy and a stuffed animal. Each classroom was provided an educational kit which teaches self esteem.
