O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Health and Mental Health Advisory Committee Meeting held at the Beachwood Community Center

O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Head Start Health Department led by Health Manager Laura Coccia, LPN with team members Gloria Bivins, RN BSN; Pat Brower, LPN Nicole Allmond-Hayes LPN Lydia Sledge, Health Clerk and Sharon Hopson, Head Start Education/Site Supervisor hosted the Health and Mental Health Advisory Committee Meeting at the Beachwood Community Center located at 147 Compass Avenue, Beachwood NJ.

With many participants in attendance and boxed lunches served, the event brought together staff, parents, local health care and other community providers to discuss and share ideas on how to provide quality services in the areas of health, mental health, oral health, disability and nutrition throughout the community and within the O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Head Start Program. 

Guest presenters included:

-Captain Lynch and Detective Erica Bonfiglio: Ocean County Prosecutors Office - Human trafficking, including labor trafficking awareness

-Sandy Grebel, LCSW & Jessica Weingroff, LCSW - Preferred Behavioral Health Mental Health

-Joe Cuffari, Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health - Emergency Mental Health Services

-Amanda Santini, Ocean County Health Department - Overdose Response Resources including/Narcan Training
